Discounts are offered for military service members and a limited number of Journey Church scholarships are available to help couples off-set the cost of attending a Weekend to Remember event. For additional scholarship information, email Pastor Bryce at bryce@journeygretna.com.

support groups

Support groups are informal gatherings where people with similar experiences or challenges come together to share, listen, and offer mutual encouragement. They provide a safe, non-judgmental space where members can talk openly about their struggles and learn from each other.

community Resources

Many community organizations offer housing, food, mental health, and crisis resources to families in need. Journey Church has partnered with other Gretna churches to centralize a directory of helpful housing, food, mental health, and crisis resources at GretnaCares.org.

financial Assistance

Journey Church sets aside money to help families in our church experiencing financial hardship. If you regularly attend Journey Church and you’re worried about an unexpected bill, please place it in the black box (back of the auditorium) on Sunday morning so a member of our team can get in touch with you.

Funds are also available to help subsidize counseling sessions. Please click below to request assistance.

mental health talks

Relationships are hard and often leave us frustrated and unsure of what to do. Journey Church and CityCare Counseling are linking arms for a series of three talks about key relational challenges. Each session will be led by a licensed mental health professional, hosted by Journey Church, and focused on a key aspect of relational and emotional wellness.

Through expert guidance and compassion, we want to help you chart your own path toward growth, healing, and connection. Join us for one, two, or all three sessions.

counseling

We believe that mental health is part of your spiritual journey, and Journey Church is committed to offering talk therapy resources for men and women in our congregation. Local therapists are available through CityCare Counseling and Spence Counseling Center, and several of these counselors office inside our building. Please contact the counseling centers directly to set up an appointment.

If you regularly attend Journey, you may also qualify for up to $1,150 in subsidized counseling services. For additional information about counseling subsidies, contact Pastor Bryce at bryce@journeygretna.com.
