Journey proudly partners with Heartland Hope Mission in Omaha to combat food insecurity and homelessness amongst local families. Each month, teams of Journey Church volunteers serve at local food pantries.

we build health centers in west africa.

In partnership with Global Partners in Hope, we build wells, maternity wards, and health centers in impoverished areas of West Africa. As people receive clean drinking water and medical care, local missionaries and medical professionals share the Good News of Jesus. Many have placed their faith in Christ and established local churches.

We believe that the Church plays a crucial role in the flourishing local community. At Journey Church, we’re committed to helping the people of Gretna thrive by elevating access to professional and lay counseling and care ministries.

we feed orphans in gonaives, haiti.

Since the 2010 earthquake that left 220,000 people dead, Journey Church has partnered with Christopher’s Hope Orphanage in Gonaives, Haiti to care for children in crisis. Through your generosity, three daily meals are served to more than 100 children and the staff members caring for them.

It’s commonly said that the hardest year of an educator’s teaching career is the first year. Journey Church supports the Gretna Public Schools system by standing alongside Gretna’s newest teachers through prayer, encouragement, and donation of classroom supplies.
