2025 studies

This spring, join Journey Women for a transformative 7-week Bible study through the Gospel of John, where Author Melissa Spoelstra will guide us through the life and teachings of Jesus, revealing the depth of peace He offers—a peace that isn’t dependent on our circumstances, but rooted in the stillness of a soul at rest in Him.

This study will encourage you to slow down, take a deep breath, and linger with the living Word. You’ll learn from the Savior who never rushed and who completed the Father’s work at the perfect pace. As we explore John’s Gospel together, we’ll take on the posture of a learner, discovering that the peace Jesus offers isn’t about avoiding life’s storms, but finding stillness in the midst of them.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • 7 Sessions of deep Bible study, discussion, and reflection.

  • Groups of up to 10 women, lending to an intimate time of fellowship and growth.

  • Flexible scheduling: There are five groups available, and more information about meetings for each group is below.

Group Meeting Details:

  • This group will begin on Monday, February 17 from 5:30 - 7 pm and meet weekly on Mondays through March 31.

  • This study will take place in a Gretna apartment. The location will be provided after you register.

Group Notes:

  • Teens and young adults are encouraged to join this group!

Group Meeting Details:

  • This group will begin on Wednesday, February 19 from 9:30 - 11 am and meet weekly on Wednesdays through April 2.

  • This study will take place at Journey Church. No childcare will be offered.

  • This group will begin on Wednesday, February 19 from 6:30 - 8 pm and will meet weekly on Wednesdays through April 2.

  • This study will take place in a Gretna home and. The location will be provided after you register.

  • This group will begin on Thursday, February 20 from 6:30 - 8 pm and will meet weekly on Thursdays through April 3.

  • This study will take place at Journey Church. Childcare is available with prior registration. (We’ll gather this information on the form below.)

women’s bible studies

At Journey, Women's Bible studies are group gatherings designed to help women of all ages deepen their understanding of Scripture, build community, and grow spiritually. These studies often focus on Bible passages, books, or themes. They also provide a space for women to explore faith, share insights, support one another through prayer and fellowship, and uncover practical ways to live out their faith.
